Funding received from donations and other community sources help provide the tools needed to offer diagnostic services, accommodation aid, GED test prep, and professional workshops that include specific training in identifying and working with specific learning disabilities in reading and math, test anxiety, and trauma  / drug abuse.

Grant Writer

Volunteer position will maintain the accounting in Quickbooks; generate monthly / quarterly financial reports; file tax documents when necessary. Accounting background required; tax experience with a nonprofit a plus.

Social Media Marketing and Data

Volunteer position will support Executive Director with client tracking, research, generating reports, marketing support, maintaining accurate files and evaluations. Position requires the ability to work with Word and Excel, a knowledge of the internet, good writing and organization skills, and the willingness to learn more about learning disabilities.

Special Event Coordinator

Volunteer position will provide assistance with major fundraising campaigns such as the annual mail campaign, National Adult Learning Disabilities Awareness Week, and other fundraising events. Position requires the ability to work with Word and Excel, a knowledge of the internet, good writing and organization skills, and the willingness to learn more about learning disabilities.

Tutor / Trainer

Volunteer position will be trained to be a tutor for students with learning disabilities as well as train other new tutors of The LD Edge Network. Position also involves off-site training of tutors / clients of The LD Edge Network. Prior education / tutoring background are a plus along with a willingness to learn how to teach those with learning disabilities
